Criminal Record Check
SPMBA requires all coaches to obtain a criminal record check in an effort to ensure the welfare and safety of all our baseball players and as per the Baseball Alberta Policy.
This must be completed and uploaded before the coach can complete their SPMBA registration on TeamSnap.
There are two ways to get the criminal record check completed:
1. $25 - Baseball Alberta Sterling Check Online
Baseball Alberta now uses Sterling to complete background checks online in 1 to 2 business days. For all the information or to complete a background check using this service, click the button below. Send the receipt to baseball-admin@spmba.ca
2. Free - Visit the RCMP Station
If you would prefer, you can still take the letter below to the Strathcona RCMP Station on Bison Way and the RCMP will process your background check free of charge. You can then email to baseball-admin@spmba.ca
