Baseball Alberta 'A' Division Home
The objective of the Provincial 'A' League is to provide a longer season of baseball for community (house league) level players/teams, allowing them to continue to play through the month of July with a 'A' Provincial Championship at Mosquito, Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget categories.
Teams will compete in a Regional format for two weekends in July; the number and size of the regions will be based on the number of teams that register. If there are too few teams registered to provide a League, the teams that did register will be given the opportunity/choice to compete in the lowest tier of 'AA' for that age category; including the Provincial Championships.
Teams will be created in April / May, players participate in House League for May/June, with occasional “A” team practices outside of House League weeknight games.
Fall Ball
Fall Ball is played in the month of September, games are typically played on Saturdays, practices are at the discretion of the coaches and typically during week nights. All skill levels are welcome to register. Note that you will register in the level of ball that you will play in the 2020 season. i.e. if you are a second year Rookie this season, you will play Mosquito Fall Ball.
SPMBA also holds summer. And Winter camps. These are all posted on the website during that time.
