respect in Sport/NCCP Safe Sport Module
7U-18U Community league
SPMBA coaches coaching in our Community League Stream may submit the Respect In Sport Leaders Module.
The Respect in Sports program is designed to give coaches better tools in performing their duties while protecting players from potential liability issues involving harassment, abuse and bullying.
Baseball Alberta feels coaches will see the immediate value once they have completed the 6 (30 min.) modules. Upon completion of the program coaches can go back to any module and review the information from start to finish. This is a tool to assist coaches in becoming better coaches and communicators while protecting everyone's best interest in today's challenging world. Registration and payment for Respect in Sports is done entirely online.
'Please note that Respect in Sport coaching module for other sports is equivalent to the requirement for baseball (Like Hockey). However, the Respect in Sport parent module, such as the Hockey Alberta program, is NOT equivalent to the coaching module.

The Safe Sport Training module aligns with those values. It equips coaches, administrators and others to make decisions that promote athletes’ physical and mental wellbeing and empowers sporting organizations to foster a culture that contributes to athlete success.
To complete the Safe Sport Module, you will first need:
