22U Sherwood Park Athletics

Baseball Alberta is committing to making the 22U Baseball Alberta League the best league around and creating a place for collegiate and non-collegiate athletes to play during the summer months outside of the college season.  There has been a big hole for college summer athletes in Alberta for a number of years and the current leagues are not meeting the needs of our athletes.

Athletes born in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 are eligible to play.

Home games will be played at CP9 and at RE/MAX Field in Edmonton and the team will play approximately 30 - 40 games through the summer months.  We will hopefully also host the Doc Plotsky Tournament at this age group.

Other teams in the league will include Parkland, St. Albert, Innisfail among others.  The league will become more competitive each year.

Registration to play is $300, plus a $100 raffle fee (which you can get back by selling the raffle tickets) and a $30 field improvement fee.

Depending on how many athletes register, we may have a tryout.
